General Use Description: This is the cable that was used for syncing data between a computer and a Dock connector compatible device and charging those devices with a compatible AC Adapter. This includes all iPods between the 2003 iPod (Dock Connector) and the 2010 iPod classic and iPod touch (4th Generation). It was also the cable used with the original revision of the iPhone (released in June 2007) up through and including the iPhone 4s which was discontinued in September of 2012 and all iPads from the original revision (released in January 2010) through the iPad (3rd Generation) which was discontinued in October of 2012.
