General Use Description: Also known as a "D-Sub 15" connector or (less accurately) as a "VGA" Connector, the only common use for this type of connector currently is connecting computers and security system DVRs to external analog monitors, projectors or televisions. Many modern flat screen TVs still have a "PC" port that will work with this connector type and business class laptops still may have a port to use this connector.
